VAG successfully presents “LeakMonitoring 4.0”

At the 8th Water Supply Networks Practice Day held in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on 27 September 2018, developers, suppliers and users came together to listen to interesting expert talks on the subject of water and/or drinking water networks and to visit the associated trade exhibition.  Focussing on network optimisation, network operation and hygiene, leak detection and monitoring as well as metrology and automation, the Practice Day took up highly topical subjects from the water supply industry.  Trends of tomorrow and new developments around water supply networks were the key points of discussion between manufacturers and users. With the presentation of its LeakMonitoring 4.0, VAG also contributed successfully to the marathon talks. In their technical talk “Detecting leaks at an early stage – with ultrasound sensors and software”, VAG valve expert Jörg Baader demonstrated the advantages and savings that can be achieved through the use of the product designed to detect and locate small and invisible leakages at an early stage. The feedback from visitors was very positive: Already during the event but also a couple of days later, VAG entered into talks with interested water suppliers.
