VAG's purchasing organization is responsible for worldwide purchasing of production materials, consumables and supplies, capital goods and services.

Strategy

We strive for long-term and trustworthy cooperation with our suppliers. We are nonetheless open to new suppliers. Purchasing is decentralized and handled in the factories. Centralized agreements are made by a lead buyer and apply to the entire group.
