New development of the VAG NOVA Standpost Hydrant range
Every 6th hydrant used in Germany is subject to complaints because its draining system does not work. The main causes of this malfunction are corrosion in the draining duct and clogging by foreign matter entering the long and narrow draining ducts. A real nuisance which VAG GmbH has technically excluded by a new development. From 2021 on, the NOVA Standpost Hydrant DN 80 und 100 range offers a double draining system with higher safety and reliability ensured by the reduction of the risk of clogging. Seat bushes made of brass, a draining sleeve made of stainless steel and draining system protection made of plastic prevent corrosion in the draining duct. Clogging is effectively prevented thanks to a multi-stage extension of the draining duct.
