Valve expert presentation at trade fair in Munich

The products presented included the VAG PICO® Pilot Operated Control Valve platforms offering customised options for any application in the supply of drinking water, or how a modern bus system used with a VAG EKN® Butterfly Valve with a VAG HYsec hydraulic brake and lift unit put an end to tangled cables.

VAG is civil engineering, high pressure and solutions for complex waste water issues: visitors were able to see and feel what VAG valves can make possible in all these areas. This resulted in a lively exchange of information, also on new projects, with these exchanges basically being carried out on "live objects".

VAG is technical service. It was demonstrated how hydrants are reliably unblocked. VAG ensures complete clearance, where standing water would otherwise give rise to a risk of contamination or freezing.

VAG is consulting, and with LeakMonitoring 4.0 the company provides a ready-for-use solution for the detection of leaks in water supply networks. A film showed an example of how municipalities and water utility companies can reduce their costs for leak detection, losses of water and consequential damage to a mere fraction of the current costs.

Another highlight at the trade fair was without doubt the presentation of the innovative VAG DUOJET®-I Automatic Air Valve with a smart sensor, since this valve automatically identifies pipe breaks and immediately alerts control rooms or persons in charge.

VAG was hence able to impress visitors, and establish first contacts and initiate new projects. Here are a few impressions…
