Underground hydrant with single or double closing system and double draining system. Available with flange or spigot-end connection. Both versions available made of stainless steel or PE 100 polyethylene. With self-closing claw cover and patented safety interlock for the protection of maintenance staff. Especially suitable for use in municipal fire-water supply systems. Also suitable for water distribution applications, in power plants and in industry.
  • With spigot end connection to connect to VAG BAIO®plus System parts
  • Spigot end with locking cams for internal bayonet locking
  • Corrosion-resistant due to boltless connection
  • Short assembly times due to easy assembly or disassembly
  • Stress-free laying due to flexibility of inclination up to +/- 3°
  • VAG HYDRUS® G1 with single shut-off, type A or VAG HYDRUS® G2 with double shut-off, type AD acc. to DIN EN 14339 and 1074-6
  • Maintenance-free stem seal with O-rings located in the bearing bush
  • With locking ring to prevent unintentional disassembling and a protective dirt collar to prevent the infiltration of dirt
  • Encapsulated clearance free stem bearing for increased reliability and durability
  • Self-closing cover, claw with retaining lugs, orifice protection
  • One-piece jacket, no risk of leaks on the flange connection
  • Safety interlock to protect maintenance staff
  • Double, independent draining system with pressure water protection
  • Seat bush: Brass
  • Jacket pipe: Ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 (GGG-50)
  • Bonnet: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG-40)
  • Claw: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG-40)
  • Valve cone: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG-40) all around EPDM vulcanized
