With its 185 m, the Tekeze Dam is the highest dam in Africa.
VAG service technicians commissioned the hollow jet discharge valve with a diameter of 1600 mm and assembled its actuator.
The hollow jet discharge valve is installed at a height of 90 m and serves as a water discharge valve. If required, up to 71,000 litres of water per second can be discharged from the reservoir.
