VAG TERRA®lock K3 connecting piece for vertical tapping under pressure of PE-HD or PVC pipes with a tapping machine. With VAG TERRA®lock plug fitting. For the boltless, plug-type connection with flexible locking ring ensuring fast, easy and threadless manual assembly. Suitable for use in municipal water distribution systems when new pipelines are installed or old ones refurbished.
  • Sealing system/standard: Design in accordance with DIN 3543 Part 2
  • Vertical tapping under pressure for:
    • PE-HD pipes PE 80 and PE 100
    • PVC pipes
  • Maximum tapping diameter: 31 mm
  • VAG TERRA®lock plug-type connection with patented, flexible locking ring
  • For easy manual assembly with the VAG TERRA®lock plug-type connection
  • With integrated, easy-to-operate auxiliary ball valve
  • Fremdanbohrung, Verwendung eines Anbohrapparates mit VAG TERRA®lock Adapter
  • Clamping piece: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG-40)
  • Saddle: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG-40)
  • Bolts, nuts, washers: Stainless steel A2 (DIN EN ISO 3506)
  • Seal: EPDM
  • Auxiliary ball valve: Components made of rust-proof materials
  • Internally and externally epoxy coated acc. to GSK guidelines
  • Saddle: Internally and externally epoxy coated
  • Clamping piece: Internally and externally epoxy coated
