Whether it’s high-pressure valves such as the VAG RIKO® Plunger Valve and the VAG DUOJET® Automatic Air Valve for pressure ratings of up to PN 100 or underground valves such as hydrants, house connection valves and gate valves – VAG valves are extremely resistant to strain, flexible and durable. The VAG FLOWJET® Automatic Air Valve, the VAG ZETA® Knife Gate Valve, the VAG EROX®plus and VAG ERI®plus Penstocks and the VAG LIMU-STOP® Non-Return Valve – special valves for wastewater treatment – present themselves as highly resistant to coarse dirt and corrosive media.
No cables any more – it’s time for smart solutions
By the example of a combination of a VAG EKN® Butterfly Valve and a VAG HYsec Hydraulic Brake and Lift Unit, the valve experts demonstrate how a modern bus system can replace a complete cable installation. With LeakMonitoring 4.0, VAG is now cutting off the water of weak points that have existed in pipeline networks for years: Thanks to the smart interaction of IT and sensor technology, leaks can be precisely located at an early stage. The new DUOJET®-I Automatic Air Valve is the highlight of the product range and with this valve, VAG is making its first-time entry into the smart water market. Being equipped with sensors, a transmission module (smart device) and cloud data management, the product detects deviations of the system pressure and sends warning messages to the operating staff without delay.
